Infill lots and remodels
Cabezon is largely built out, so the construction work here is the last few lots plus a steady run of remodels and additions. A Cabezon job takes one standard unit on the driveway, out for a few weeks to a couple of months depending on the scope.
Block walls enclose nearly every Cabezon back yard, which means the gate width decides what can be moved through. We keep a Cabezon unit outside the wall on the drive rather than trying to work it through a garden gate.
Walls, yards and landscape crews
Wall repair, coyote fencing and gravel yard replacement keep landscape crews busy across Cabezon year round. A Cabezon landscape job takes a unit for a week or two, set at the curb end of the drive where the material pile is not in the way.
Those Cabezon crews move base course and gravel by the ton, and the site gets dusty quickly. A handwashing station goes out with every Cabezon landscape order for that reason. Material drops take the front of a Cabezon drive for days, so the unit gets placed before the first load arrives.
Park events, wind and monsoon afternoons
The park at the center of Cabezon carries neighborhood events, sports and seasonal gatherings through the warm months. A Cabezon park booking takes two or three standard units on the paved apron with an ADA accessible unit near the path.
Spring wind funnels between the Cabezon houses and monsoon storms turn the gravel edges into running water. Every Cabezon unit is staked or ballasted and set clear of the low spots that drain across the lot. Shade is scarce at a Cabezon park event, so the row goes where an afternoon line is not standing in full sun.
